Carter Vet Services is seeking a full-time Associate Equine Veterinarian to join our three-doctor mobile practice. Our office is in the heart of the Lowcountry and surrounded by beautiful coastline. We are located just minutes from Savannah, Georgia, 35 minutes from Hilton Head Island, and 40 minutes from Beaufort, all of which boast abundant outdoor activities, numerous beaches, open-air entertainment, and historical attractions. For more city adventurers, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Greenville, and Charleston are only a short drive away.
Carter Veterinary Services was established in 2009 and is a full-service mobile/ambulatory practice. There are currently three full-time veterinarians, Dr. Dessie Carter and two full-time associates. We are growing quickly and have plans to build a clinic within the next few years.

The ideal candidate will have a collaborative spirit, a willingness to learn, and a great attitude towards their fellow team-mates and clients. Our entire staff, especially our veterinarians, are encouraged to engage with clients at appointments to help forge better communication practices.
Applicants will need to be or become licensed in the state of South Carolina and Georgia, and while a minimum of one year experience is valued, we urge new graduates to consider applying. This is a full-time position with rotating on-call responsibilities after hours and during weekends to maximize work-life balance. A competitive base salary will be offered, centered around experience and/or qualifications along with a quarterly commission based on performance.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in South Carolina or eligible for licensure
- Experience in equine medicine preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergency cases
