Adult Program Director
The Crossroads Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at NFI Vermont is seeking an Adult IOP Director. Crossroads provides intensive outpatient services based on the theory and practice of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Clients are typically referred to IOP as a way to bridge inpatient psychiatric or substance abuse treatment and traditional outpatient therapy, or to address mental health and/or co-occurring issues which are not being adequately resolved in the outpatient setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive DBT intake assessments.
- Supervising clinicians.
- Facilitating group therapy consistent with the DBT model.
- Managing various administrative needs of the program.
- Collaborating with community partners.
- Managing the IOP waitlist.
- Completing prior authorizations for insurance when needed.
A significant component of this position will include the clinical, administrative, and team development of the Adult Program. The IOP Director is part of the greater NFI leadership team and works in close collaboration with the other IOP Program Directors.
The ideal candidate will have training and experience in DBT; excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills; supervisory experience; and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment. A Master’s Degree in a human service field and licensure as a mental health professional are required. This position is full-time and includes our comprehensive benefits package. Please include a resume and cover letter with your application.
