Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in the field or related area. Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, payers, patients, and the public and be capable of establishing good working relationships with both internal and external customers. The employee must pass the MA competency exam within the first six months of employment.
Preferred: Bachelors Degree
Essential Functions:
- Establishes and maintains effective communication with the HOPCo Marketing and Communications Department, physicians, clinics, and other departments as required.
- Visits a minimum number of accounts/3 days per week within their assigned territory. Accounts include primary care physicians, specialists, and other referral sources.
- Responsible for searching out new and unique opportunities within assigned territory for community engagement and brand awareness resulting in new patient growth.
- Maintains and updates the practice’s physician and patient referral programs, such as the referral Information, referral platforms, and HOPCo Lightning database. Works with the HOPCo Marketing and Communications Department when necessary.
- Effectively works with the contact center to ensure smooth receipt and scheduling of physician referred patients.
- Assists in the development and execution of internal and external special events.
- Assists in the development and execution of physician lecture program to enhance community education and foster positive relations between the practice and the greater community.
- Maintains and adheres to a marketing/physician relations budget for the calendar year.
- Promotes the organization among members of the medical community in order to establish partnerships and affiliations, as well as consistent referral patterns.
- Meets or exceeds physician relations, department, and organizational goals.
