Description
The clinical educator is a registered nurse with expertise in education who influences professional role, competence and professional growth of nurses in a variety of settings. The clinical educator serves as an educator, change agent, facilitator, consultant and researcher. The Clinical Educator supports the development of bedside nurses and fosters empowerment through knowledge and skills to achieve excellence through the delivery of evidence-based nursing practice.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing
- Master's Degree Nursing or actively enrolled in program, projected completion 18 months from date of hire
- Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 3 years related clinical experience in area of specialty
- Adult Education – course development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Upon hire: Certification in nursing core specialty
- Formal educator experience
- Leadership experience
- Simulation (high-fidelity and low-fidelity experience)
