Responsibilities
- Provide counseling services to clients in Branford, CT, utilizing evidence-based and trauma-informed techniques.
- Provide individual and clinical supervision.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of client information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Engage in clinical consultations and team rounds with colleagues at the Center for NeuroPotential.
- Pursue continuous professional development by acquiring new therapeutic skills, like neurofeedback, to enhance trauma treatment.
- Evaluate patient progress during neurofeedback sessions to tailor treatment plans effectively.
- Uphold punctuality and efficiency in all tasks related to the counseling role.
- Demonstrate consistent reliability in fulfilling job duties as a Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Supervisor.
Qualifications
- The applicant must hold a valid psychotherapy license in the state of Connecticut (LPC, LMFT, LCSW).
- Experience in treating trauma is a mandatory requirement for the position.
- The candidate must be open to receiving training in evidence-based therapies like EMDR and somatic treatments.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are a crucial aspect of the role.
- Proficiency in inputting clinical data into electronic health record (EHR) systems is essential.
- A collaborative attitude and a strong commitment to treating trauma patients are indispensable qualities.
- Upholding ethical codes of conduct and maintaining a professional demeanor are vital expectations for the role.
- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication is a key skill set needed for this position.
Compensation
$40 - $45 hourly
