The Role
The Sun Life Health and Risk Solutions organization is looking for an initiative-taking, positive, and dynamic team player to join our Client Success team as a co-op supporting our client managers. As a member of Sun Life's emerging Client Success team, you will gain valuable direct experience in building relationships. This is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of client services, gain stop loss insurance knowledge, and the positive impact of teamwork.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring there is effective prospect inventory support for the CM by managing the decline to quote and missing information processes in a timely manner.
- Providing new business prospect support; requesting and following up on additional information and capturing final outcome.
- Coordinating the logistics of assembling, sending, and receiving sold case materials – includes updating and verifying case specific information and ensuring submission is complete and accurate.
- Maintain and update Client Relationship Management (CRM) system regarding activities in designated territories.
- Preparing and distributing marketing materials to SLS, brokers, and TPAs.
- Performing additional responsibilities as needed.

- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and Adobe products.
The Candidate
To be eligible for a co-op at Sun Life, you must meet the following requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university during the time of the co-op (January 2025 – June 2025).
- Must be an undergraduate or graduate student in Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, or related field of study.
- Eligible to legally work in the United States.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during co-op session.
Compensation for this role will be around $22/hr.
