Oracle Fusion Financials – Functional – Manager

Role:

Responsible for executing client engagements in the areas of Finance, Risk & Compliance, Reporting and ERP/IT support.
Determine that the work delivered is of high quality.
Anticipate and identify engagement related risks and escalate issues as appropriate.
Actively establish client (process owner/functional heads) and internal relationships.
Assist Seniors & Managers in developing new methodologies and internal initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Execution on client engagement – Ensure quality delivery as per client requirements.
Review of working papers and client folders. Suggest ideas on improving engagement productivity and identify opportunities for improving client service.
Understand business & industry issues/trends. Identify areas requiring improvement in the client's business processes to enable preparation of recommendations.
Demonstrate an application & solution-based approach to problem-solving technique.
Manage the engagement budgets and support superiors in developing marketing collaterals, business proposals and new solution/methodology development.
Experience in Project planning and estimation and Support Program and Project Management Office (PMO).
Develop strong working relationships with client (process owner/functional heads).
Attention to detail and mentor juniors and analysts within the practice.
Contribute to knowledge management sessions within the practice.
Able to interpret functional requirements from onsite and able to deliver/design from offshore.
Design module specific solution in the context of the integrated Finance applications.
Requirements gathering and documentation using prescribed methodologies.
Map client requirements and maintenance to existing Oracle finance modules like AP, AR, GL, FA, CM and SLA.
Capable of handling Solution Design / Functional Fit-Gap / Training / Testing sessions.
Assist business user during CRPs / SITs / UATs and should Prepare test scripts and test cases & conduct trainings.
Take ownership of initiatives and lead them to success.

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience working in Oracle ERP Finance modules (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM & SLA) preferably in Fusion.
Should have worked in at least 3 full life cycle implementations (On Prem/Cloud).
Clear understanding of the functional flow in finance modules and its integrations.
Exposure in Projects, Expenses and Financial/Fusion Accounting Hub would be an added advantage.
Well versed with accounting principles.

Ability to multitask and still stay focused on release priorities.
Must have valid passport.
Client site work / Business travel may be involved.
