We are searching for a talented Manager-Clinical Research
This position covers all Southcoast hospital sites and the cancer center; including onsite responsibilities.
*Position will follow a hybrid schedule*

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
Responsibilities:
Under the Executive Director of Quality, manages clinical research including the master inventory of all clinical trial activities throughout the Health System. Maintains a research infrastructure, collaborates with leadership and clinical staff on: eligibility for grants/contracts, development of budgets, application content, application process, post award processes/needs, internal publicity of research efforts; IRB and sponsor coordination and compliance with Federal, sponsor and institution guidelines. Reviews industry protocols and facilitates the organization’s Clinical Research Steering Committee on feasibility and alignment with Southcoast’s mission and values. Assists with or oversees team members who support the development of internal trial protocols, recruitment techniques and compliance with executed contracts. Manages internal monitoring to ensure patient safety and data integrity. Collaborates with cross functional teams including providers, management, operations, and finance on protocol adherence, budget and reporting. Supports Principal Investigators in completing new research applications and processing of administrative tasks and documentation. Participates in developing clinical research training and education for the system.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelors degree or the equivalent education and experience is required.
- Clinical training preparation preferred. Must possess the ability to manage and lead people and must exhibit the ability to effectively set and manage deadlines.
- Experience with operational management and coordination of research activities (planning/development/finance) required.
- Minimum 5 years experience in research coordination and/or management (10 years preferred).
- US Drivers license is required. Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP), Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) preferred.
- Current Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) training certifications or completion within first 3 months of hire and recertification every 3 years required.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Pay Range:
USD $95,139.20 - USD $(phone number removed) /Yr.
