Inpatient Therapist Responsibilities
The Inpatient Therapist is responsible for providing mental health services to assigned patients in an individual and/or group setting. The Inpatient Therapist assesses, evaluates, and provides services in a clear, concise, and timely manner. Accesses patients on intake, as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completes clinical documentation within established time frames using the electronic health medical record system.
- Attends weekly Treatment Team meetings and presents on each assigned patient.
- Works with the interdisciplinary team to create, personalize, and update all Treatment Plans and other necessary documentation while assuring that plans are consistent with hospital policy, state licensing regulations, and Joint Commission accreditation requirements.
- Serves as a liaison with other professionals and agencies involved with patient’s care.
