Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Vineyard Winery with Hotel & Restaurants
Location: Temecula, CA
Salary: $180,000 + annually, plus full benefits package

We are a premier vineyard winery nestled in the heart of Temecula, complete with an on-site hotel and gourmet restaurants. We are searching for a dynamic and experienced COO to lead our operations and help drive our vision forward.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with executive team and ownership to set operational strategies and ensure alignment with the company's overall goals. Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance of the entire property, including the vineyard, winery, hotel, and restaurants.
- Vineyard & Winery Operations: Oversee all aspects of vineyard management, wine production, and bottling to ensure the highest quality standards. Work closely with the winemaking team to optimize production processes and ensure inventory management.
- Hotel & Restaurant Management: Oversee the daily operations of the hotel and restaurants, ensuring optimal guest experiences, room occupancy, and restaurant reservations. Ensure that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards and all necessary licenses are up to date.
- Financial Oversight: Oversee the financial performance of the business, optimizing profitability while ensuring the highest quality of products and services. Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to the executive team and board members.
- Human Resources & Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with California labor laws and foster a positive work environment. Manage and mentor the operations team, encouraging professional growth and promoting a culture of excellence. Coordinate with the HR department on staff recruitment, training, and retention.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local community members, business partners, and regulatory bodies. Represent the company at industry events, tastings, and other public functions.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor market trends and industry best practices to position the company at the forefront of the wine and hospitality sectors. Drive innovation in operations and guest experiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Hospitality, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 10 years of senior management experience, preferably in the vineyard, winery, and hospitality sectors.
- Deep understanding of California labor laws.
- Strong financial acumen, with proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
