The Multi-Dimensional Family Therapy Clinician provides model adherent intensive in-home clinical treatment to adolescents with substance abuse and delinquent behaviors and their families. The MDFT Clinician will go through the MDFT certification process, obtain licensure clinical and supervision hours and obtain experience in the adolescent, parent and family clinical realm.
$5,000 Sign-On Bonus! Half paid upon hire and half paid at one year of service
Salary: $62,000
Bilingual Stipend: $4,576
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, and Doctorate in Psychology. Candidate must be able to speak fluently in both English and Spanish. Valid Driver's License is required. Safely operates vehicle in the community, based on program needs. Must hold one of the following credentials to start a position: LMSW, LCSW, LMFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPC or licensed or license eligible psychologist. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Completes clinical documentation.
Provides triages for clinical emergencies and aligns with identified safety plan.
Works collaboratively with internal and external providers.
Meets with families based on model expectations.
Provides service in the office, remote, and/or community settings outside of the office (e.g., homes, schools, hospitals, institutions, other community locations) as defined by the program. May transport clients to appointments or linkages as appropriate.
Work in a team to provide wrap-around services to the family both clinical and case management.
Participate in on-call rotation with teammates to support clients/families in times of crisis.
