Job Summary
Responsible for operationalizing system improvements and alignment with strategy at the local level and across the continuum of care. Collaborates with the local functional partners to assess facility operating system performance, develop plans for improvement where needed, implement new best practices as developed and presented by the clinical service councils and other forums, and to continually mature/align team skills with the Pulse clinical operating system. Collaborates with key stakeholders to manage and implement projects system-wide. This role requires a data and improvement practitioner with successful program management and implementation demonstrated abilities. Success working in a heavily matrixed environment and leading through influence as a change agent is a must for success in this role.

Certified practitioner of process improvement with proven ability to drive improvement using the operating system data as a platform, across the continuum of care. Helps to standardize processes across the system, focusing on effectiveness and efficiency. Stays current on continuous improvement best practices.
Understands healthcare operational data analytics and best practices. Solves problems through critical thinking and use of best practice information. Effectively presents data and strategy to leaders and caregivers. Understands quality and improvement tools and can teach, coach and mentor others to use data tools successfully to garner improvement in outcomes.
Manage large scale projects from inception to implementation, involving key stakeholders in the process and using current Project Management methods. Follows project schedule and work plan, making adjustments and updating key stakeholders with on time completion. Stays current on PM best practices.
Empowers, coaches, supports, and develops the functional teams and leaders across the organization in operationalizing improvements and performance goals that align with system strategy. Champions and models One Prisma Health's mission to provide human-centered care, providing a psychologically safe environment for the teams. Maintains strong interpersonal skills and demonstrates leading through influence.
Follows all Joint Commission, CMS, other regulatory, legal and risk guidelines. Uses data systems and PI expertise to support system improvement in regulatory patterns and trends for enterprise improvement in continued readiness.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of team members that may include final budget authority, hire/termination authority, performance appraisal responsibility and disciplinary authority. Job will be considered a member of management staff at Prisma Health or affiliate and will have two or more direct reports.
Minimum Requirements
Education - Master's degree in Business, Organizational Development or Clinical field of study.
Experience - Seven (7) years in roles related to performance improvement, program management or quality operations. Experience in leading large scale project design and implementation success. Change management experience in healthcare preferred.
In Lieu Of
In lieu of Master’s degree, a Bachelor’s degree with a fifteen (15) years of experience in performance improvement, program management or quality operations may be considered.
