Radiology Technologist
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Radiology Technologist to join our dedicated team in Manteca, CA. This role involves performing diagnostic x-rays and other exams, assisting during invasive procedures, and executing various clinical responsibilities efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. Compensation: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform all diagnostic x-rays and related exams with precision and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Process and manage images correctly, ensuring they are properly marked and stored.
- Complete computerized tracking, supply charges, and maintain accurate records.
- Assist Radiologists during invasive diagnostic procedures, ensuring all tools and technologies are handled correctly.
- Conduct routine equipment quality control checks to maintain functionality and safety standards.
- Transport patients as needed, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Prepare and clean exam rooms before and after procedures, maintaining a sterile environment.
- Remain available for on-call duties, sharing the responsibility fairly among the team.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Current California CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to obtain California Fluoroscopy certification within six months of hire.
- Proficiency with radiology information systems and general computer literacy.
- Demonstrable capacity to master new technologies pertinent to the field of radiology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting performing diagnostic imaging.
- Advanced certifications related to radiology technology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and medical staff.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
