Ulteig is seeking talented and motivated candidates for a Right of Way Intern based in our Denver, CO office to work this upcoming 2025 summer season.
What You'll Do
- Evaluates documents, plans, plats, and maps to obtain right of way details and ownership information.
- Assists in acquiring easements, options, and other forms of land rights in property.
- Attends landowner meetings with supervisor for acquisition/negotiation activities.
- Assists with negotiations with landowners, businesses, and governmental agencies for land rights.
- Prepare documents associated with land rights including but not limited to easements, options, permits, minor land descriptions, communication, records, databases, and project status reports.
- Creates and maintains accurate field notes, reports, and databases.
- Assist in preparing estimated property market values.
- Research projects from a variety of sources.
- Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
What We Expect from You
- Must be enrolled in an accredited energy management program or an equivalent land and resources program.
- Knowledge of land principles and practices used in real and personal property transactions is preferred.
- Must have permanent authorization to work in the US.
