We are looking for a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our team in Newport News, VA. The ideal candidate will have a DVM or equivalent degree, be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Virginia, and have experience working in an urgent care setting.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing urgent care to animals
- Diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries
- Prescribing medications and treatments
- Performing surgery
- Maintaining patient records
- Communicating with clients about their pets' health
