Job purpose
This position is responsible for management and oversight of specialty Family and Children Behavioral Health services, Outpatient Continuum. The Program Manager collaborates with other Behavioral Health management and AACI program leaders to ensure an integrated program delivery approach. May carry a limited caseload as needed.

Duties and responsibilities
- Oversee contract fulfillment, monitor progress on contract deliverables, and prepare monthly program reports.
- Manage program staffing to ensure capacity and appropriate case assignments based on admissions/medical necessity criteria.
- Conduct monthly chart audits in coordination with staff and the Quality Improvement team.
- Monitor and evaluate outcomes data, identifying strengths and addressing areas of improvement.
- Provide regular performance feedback to program staff.
- Collaborate with the BH management and other staff to inform strategic and programmatic ideas and direction.
- Participate and provide clinical supervision, consultations, and training.
- Represent AACI with funders, program monitors, and at association meetings and conferences.
- Onboard and train new clinical staff as needed.
- Maintain LPS 5150 Authorization certification and provide officer of the day support for crisis intervention.
- Deliver culturally sensitive, client centered individual/group/family counseling/rehabilitation direct services as needed.
- Complete other duties and related projects as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist in the state of California.
- Four years or more of clinical experience in behavioral health.
- Two years or more supervisory and managerial experience.
- Experience with electronic health records (EPIC).
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Ability to perform the duties described above.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, direct and manage staff.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Working knowledge of CalAIM documentation and county standards.
- Knowledge of laws and ethical standards pertaining to Behavioral Health.
Competencies:
- Ability to communicate well with people of diverse cultural professional and experiential background.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Working conditions
Work is conducted in an office environment inside a standard clinic setting. Basic safety precautions and use of protective clothing or gear may be required. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Working with clients who are seriously mentally ill, or high risk may increase exposure to secondary trauma.
