Congressional Country Club is seeking seasonal Golf Course & Grounds Interns for the 2025 golf season. The 2025 season will be yet another exciting season here at Congressional. We are proudly hosting the Senior PGA Championship this May. This year’s interns will help us progress and prepare the club to host major championships in the future while also providing the best experience for our members and guests. This opportunity will allow students to get firsthand practical experience at one of the most storied clubs in the country on golf course maintenance. This summer the club is also ecstatic to break ground on constructing a brand new, state of the art maintenance facility and complex.
Located in Bethesda, MD, Congressional Country Club is the #1 Platinum Club in the country. Congressional has a long-storied history of hosting Championships. In the last 15 years alone, Congressional has hosted the U.S. Open Championship in 2011 followed by two Quicken Loans National Tournaments (2014 & 2016). Congressional most recently hosted the 2022 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and the 2024 Junior PGA Championship. Congressional is proud to continue this history in agreement with the PGA of America in hosting seven more Championships in the next twelve years as follows:

Job Description:
Interns will be involved in the daily maintenance of two golf courses, Blue and Gold, and will work closely with the Superintendents and Assistants. Interns will learn fertilizer/pesticide calibration as well as proper application practices. Daily jobs will include but are not limited to course setup, irrigation repair, disease identification, and water management on USGA and pushup greens. Interns will also be exposed to the equipment maintenance and clubhouse horticulture/grounds side of the operation. Congressional Country Club prides itself on a positive learning experience for all interns of various skill levels.
