Job Role: Production Accounting Specialist
Location: Houston TX
Job Description:
We are seeking a Production Accounting Specialist who will be responsible for the development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of applications used to capture, integrate, and allocate production volumes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of Production Accounting Systems.
- Gather requirements through customer engagement.
- Provide and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with client business groups, internal team members, and other internal resources.
- Analyze data to identify gaps and find solutions while collaborating with teams on projects of different sizes.
- Facilitate new report generation via the database and application with business and technical teams.
- Maintain and support applications, including upgrades and testing.
- Provide training and create training documentation.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, information technology, or related areas.
- Proficient in the Production Accounting Domain of the Oil and Gas industry.
- 15 years of industrial experience, with 5 years in Production Accounting Systems (Procount or Joyn) implementation and support.
- Proficiency in SQL Database and excellent communication skills.
- Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills.
- Experience in the upstream Oil and Gas industry preferred.
