What you'll do...
Data and Digital Literacy: Possesses knowledge of data collection modes, techniques, and tools; data analytics. Responsibilities include articulating the levers that influence data, ensuring data quality, and organizing processes for analysis. Develops and implements technology changes across multiple processes.
Environmental Protection: Knowledge of environmental policies and procedures; applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Responsibilities include operating tools for evaluating air, water, and waste pollution, supporting regulatory visits, and preparing audit reports. Participates in evaluating pollution control and management.
Operational Excellence: Knowledge of organizational processes and root cause analysis techniques. Responsibilities include explaining operational functions, clarifying departmental roles, and identifying primary operational functions.
Partnership & Collaboration: Knowledge of stakeholder identification and engagement. Responsibilities include owning project activities, supporting process updates, and solving simple business issues.
Employee Health and Safety: Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and compliance auditing processes. Responsibilities include participating in inspections, ensuring first aid equipment is operational, and maintaining health and safety records.
Asset Protection & Security: Knowledge of asset protection policies and environmental laws. Responsibilities include investigating security breaches, assisting with access control procedures, and maintaining loss prevention records.
EHS Training Delivery: Knowledge of training methodologies. Responsibilities include supporting instructors in training programs and managing feedback solicitation from participants.
Risk Management: Knowledge of risk management processes. Responsibilities include producing risk assessment reports, documenting risk management processes, and conducting risk assessments.
Process Improvement: Responsibilities include defining critical workflows, identifying process problems, and implementing methods for improving processes.
Influential Communication: Responsibilities include organizing thoughts, presenting information, and actively listening to others.
Transportation Operations: Knowledge of laws regarding materials transportation. Responsibilities include ensuring proper completion of transportation documents and monitoring performance metrics.
Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans to meet business needs, and demonstrating adaptability.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, and mentoring.
Ensures compliance with company policies and supports the company mission and values.
Customer/Member Centered: Focus on customer/member needs and adjust performance accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications...
Option 1: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Chemical/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Option 2: 2 years' experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety within Supply Chain, Retail, Manufacturing, or Engineering.
2 years' experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies within Supply Chain or manufacturing environments.
Associates are required to complete all job-required trainings.
Preferred Qualifications...
1 or more certifications (e.g., Associate Safety Professional, Loss Prevention Certifications, Certified Security Professional) and 2 or more years of investigative experience in retail or warehouse.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; SharePoint and OneDrive.
