Position Summary
What you'll do:
- Data and Digital Literacy: Possesses knowledge of data collection modes, techniques, and tools; data analytics. Responsibilities include articulating the levers that influence data, ensuring data quality, organizing processes for analysis, and developing and implementing technology changes across multiple processes.
- Environmental Protection: Knowledge of environmental policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include operating tools for evaluating pollution, supporting regulatory visits, preparing audit reports, and implementing environmental policies.
- Operational Excellence: Knowledge of organizational processes and root cause analysis. Responsibilities include explaining operational functions, clarifying departmental roles, and identifying primary operational functions.
- Partnership & Collaboration: Knowledge of stakeholder identification and communication. Responsibilities include owning project delivery, supporting process updates, and solving simple business issues.
- Employee Health and Safety: Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and safety auditing processes. Responsibilities include participating in inspections, ensuring first aid equipment is operational, and reporting safety violations.
- Asset Protection & Security: Knowledge of asset protection policies and laws. Responsibilities include investigating security breaches, assisting in access control procedures, and maintaining loss prevention records.
- EHS Training Delivery: Knowledge of training methodologies. Responsibilities include supporting instructors in training programs and managing feedback solicitation from participants.
- Risk Management: Knowledge of risk management processes. Responsibilities include producing risk assessment reports, training employees, and conducting risk assessments.
- Process Improvement: Responsibilities include defining critical workflows, identifying process problems, and leading incident investigations.
- Influential Communication: Responsibilities include organizing thoughts, presenting to team members, and building a professional network.
- Transportation Operations: Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations. Responsibilities include ensuring document completion and monitoring performance metrics.
Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans to meet business needs, and demonstrating adaptability.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety Management, Environmental Science, or related field, or 2 years' experience in Environmental, Health and Safety.
- 2 years' experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Completion of all job-required trainings and assessments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 or More Degreed Certifications (e.g., Associate Safety Professional).
- 2 or more years of investigative experience in retail or warehouse.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
