Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to join our tax team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting, a deep understanding of tax laws, and the ability to manage complex tax issues. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring our company’s tax compliance and contributing to the overall financial strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
- Conduct thorough research on complex tax issues and provide recommendations to management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- Manage and respond to tax notices from tax authorities.
- Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate their impact to the team.
- Mentor and guide junior tax accountants, providing training and support as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and disclosures for financial statements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax accounting.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Proficient in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,171.00 per year
