We’re searching for a Senior Systems Analyst (IT Asset Management) - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will have a major role in developing business solutions by investigating processes to understand data and communications flow with individual tasks and transactions within Texas Children's Integrated Delivery System.

The Sr. Systems Analyst for IT Asset Management should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, strong control orientation and the ability to partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders in the recording and tracking of technology assets (both hardware and software) through the lifecycle (purchase to disposal).
Enforces asset management policies and procedures in the day-to-day activities around assets to ensure information is accurate, complete and current.
Assists/leads development and maintenance of asset-related processes and procedures within ITAM group and IS Department.
Assists/leads development and maintenance of key metrics, reconciliations and data quality checks over assets including system dashboards.
Identifies process breakdowns, gaps, discrepancies and helps develop solutions.
Works closely with Configuration Manager and Senior resources for managed asset classes.
Mentors/leads junior resources as required and assists in conducting training on asset processes with other groups.
Assists in providing information for audits and other inquiries/data requests.
Assesses system changes for impact to ITAM processes, assists in testing system upgrades/releases and assists in training as necessary. Supports go live for system upgrades/releases and projects.
Example of Hardware Related Activities – Model Management for hardware and consumables, Reclamation of equipment on Terminations, Capture of Purchase Information, handling missing/lost/stolen devices, follow-up on devices not being discovered, Data Quality Checks / Reconciliations highlighting process non-compliance, provide information for lifecycle planning, data clean-up as required, other.
Example of Software Related Activities – Partner with Software Owners to capture software contract information, license types, entitlements, usage, quarterly Software Attestations, contract renewals as required, other.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is strongly preferred.
Experience – 5 plus years of experience in technology asset management.
ServiceNow experience preferred especially in HAM Pro, SAM Pro and CMDB functionality.
Certifications desired: ITIL V4, Certified Software Asset Management, Certified Hardware Asset Management.
