Purpose
The Sr. Field Reimbursement Manager contributes to the company success by being an important point of contact with our exclusive HUB service partner and HCP offices who endure reimbursement challenges for Chiesi products. This role is critical, highly visible, and customer-facing, providing reimbursement education expertise and support for customers utilizing Chiesi and Amryt products.
Main Responsibilities
- Minimize reimbursement barriers for patients and providers to optimize access to Chiesi GRD products.
- Consult and engage with key HCP offices for 12 states.
- Cover the Southeastern region of the United States.
- Work closely with Managed Access & Field Sales in the field, supporting targeted HCPs in resolving reimbursement issues.
- Experience launching rare disease products.
- Work with Pricing service databases and J Codes.
- Collaborate with HUB service and Market Access team on reimbursement issues.
- Stay current with health policy changes and trends related to reimbursement.
- Develop ethical and customer-oriented reimbursement strategies.
Experience Required
- 10 years related experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, preferably with 7+ years in a similar reimbursement role.
- Experience working within a large geographic area (12 states or similar).
- Experience in Rare Disease/Specialty products.
- In-depth knowledge of current reimbursement trends, Buy and Bill, and Specialty Pharmacy/HUB services.
- Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and strategic relationship building.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Self-directed and confident, with the ability to build teamwork centered on shared commitment and goals.
- Proficient in MS Office and data analysis tools.
Education
BS/BA in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or Biologic Science. Graduate degree preferred.
