Job Summary:
As an HVAC Sales Consultant, you will play a critical role in the installation design of HVAC systems in residential properties. You will ensure that HVAC systems are installed to operate efficiently and effectively to maintain comfortable and healthy indoor environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in the HVAC field and a dedication to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and quote HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and ventilation units.
- Evaluate and advise clients on energy-efficient and cost-effective HVAC upgrades and replacements.
- Complete quotes, including documenting work to be performed and the equipment to be used.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects.
- Communicate with clients to provide service updates, address questions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC trade school or certification is preferred.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or in a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation.
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry equipment and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in HVAC service.
