We are currently seeking a Part-Time or Full-Time experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Work/Campus Care Solutions team as a floater between primary care, workers' comp, and occupational medicine. This will focus on coverage within Center City & North/NE Charlotte, to include the following clinics: LiveWELL CMC, Avidxchange, Charlotte Pipe Admin, JCSU, Queens, LiveWELL Cabarrus, City of Concord, Cabarrus County
Position Highlights:
- Must be able to float to clinics noted at above locations
- Schedule: Monday to Friday with occasional weekend, ifneeded
- Hours:Between can vary 5:30AM-6:00PM; 32 hours/week (Flexible)
- Additional staff may include: RN and/or CMA on staff
- Practices see traditional acute episodic care and full primary care for ages 6-month old until retirement age
- Some practices perform occupational medicine services, specialized physicals and workman’s compensation cases
- After hours call coverage, phone call access only, approximately 1 week every 3 months
Education/Certification/Experience
- NC Licensure and DEA
- American Heart Association BLS
- DOT Certification (must obtain after hire if not already certified, within first 90 days)
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care
- Must be able to work autonomously
