TITLE: Technical Business Lead Analyst
DUTIES: The Bank of Nova Scotia seeks Technical Business Lead Analyst in New York, NY to work closely with the BA/Dev team and the technology support team to address all the business requests and production items. Analyze and resolve complex issues in distributed environments, working in close collaboration with global teams. Evaluate and recommend enhancements and changes to existing processes. Work with technology and business stakeholders to understand key process flows and pain points to develop tactical or strategic solutions. Work with multiple stakeholders on Audit related queries and action items and make sure that they are closed within assigned timeframe. Demonstrate proficiency in databases like MS SQL/Sybase or Oracle, Unix scripting, PL/SQL, JIRA, and work in the Agile environment. Responsible for prioritization of JIRA tickets raised by business and assigning them to appropriate BAs to work on the allocated tasks. Designing UAT test cases and assessing the UAT test results and take appropriate action; work closely with the development group to resolve defects. Contributing and participating in the resolution of items raised by regulatory, and internal and external compliance bodies by providing subject matter expertise on reporting content and processes.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation; auditing operating effectiveness in large scale organizations; managing senior stakeholder relationships, including building credibility and trust, demonstrating technology and auditing skills and business understanding; performing and managing end-to-end risk and controls assessments, and collaborating with audit teams and stakeholders; facilitating meetings with various stakeholders, and delivering presentations/demos; utilizing technologies including Unix/Linux, Windows Server, Shell Scripting (BASH/KSH/CSH), Perl Scripting, Autosys/Cronjob- Job Scheduler/JIL (Job Information Language) Scripting, ITIL Process – Incident, Change, Problem, Release Management, Apache Tomcat, Oracle SQL & PL/SQL, AXIOMSL CV Regulatory Reporting tool, Batch Scripting, and Ticketing tools including Service NOW. The offered wage is between $152,859 to $152,859 per year, and 40 hours per week. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site.
