Nursing position at an upcoming Non-medical homecare business

Qualifications:
- A licensed RN, in good standing, issued by the NJ Board of Nursing
- Graduate from an accredited college with a RN degree or Bachelor of Science degree with a major in nursing
- Has +1 year of experience as a Nurse
- Availability via telephone and provide home visits, if necessary, during Agency On-Call Hours
- Professional Liability Insurance with 1-3 million dollars in coverage, if applicable
Physical Requirements:
- Able to effectively communicate with clients and co-workers in English
- Ability to perform tasks involving physical activity, which may include heavy lifting and extensive bending and standing
- Ability to deal effectively with stress
Essential Functions of the Position:
- To ensure quality and safe delivery of home care services
- To coordinate provision of home care services that reflect agency philosophy and standards
- Responsible for the overall coordination and evaluation of Client Services
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with the client and his/her family members
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with other members of the homecare team and staff of the agency
- Maintains confidentiality of client assessments and records
- Identifies and uses appropriate resources
- Demonstrates sound judgment and clinical knowledge in planning and decision making
- Respects the rights, privacy and property of others at all times
Expected hours: 1 – 15 per week
