We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN to join our team in Minneapolis, MN! This position performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with Class F home care regulations and follows established policies and procedures. This position will ensure that the safety and health needs of the senior age assisted living residents are met at Loren on Park. This nursing schedule includes:
- 80 hours every two weeks
- Full time, Day shift
- No weekend rotation

- Provides professional nursing care
- Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff
- Maintains current observation and documentation of tenant/resident health status
- This position may assist the Director of Health Services to meet the requirements of comprehensive home care regulations for 24/7 on call RN
Required:
- Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree - LPN
- LPN Licensure/Registered with the MN Board of Nursing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be obtained within three weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice.
- Ability to use technology in the form of computers, handheld devices, cell phone & fax machine
Preferred:
- One to three years of previous experience
- Proficient in Eldermark computer documentation software
