Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a progressive care unit, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a progressive care unit, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, implementing appropriate interventions and treatments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring documentation meets all regulatory and compliance standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in nursing care.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: California Registered Nurse (RN) License, active upon hire.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, valid upon hire.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess, plan, and implement nursing care.
