Position Highlights:
- Independent practice with strong affiliation with local tertiary care hospital that provides a full range of Cardiac and Electrophysiology medicine.
- Ambulatory Surgery center on campus
- Collaborative and team focused atmosphere
- Full complement of support teams to assist with patient care.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assisting physicians with new and follow-up patient visits during attending office hours; in office device interrogation, creating treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
- Triage phone calls and arrange for patient follow-up as appropriate
- Communicate patient care plan with PCPs, cardiologists and specialists
- Providing post-procedure wound checks/ office visits

Required Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of Physician Assistant experience in Cardiology preferred
- Master’s degree in nursing with advanced skills in physical assessment OR possession of a Bachelor’s degree, together with a certificate from completing an American Medical Association approved physician assistant program.
- Current unrestricted license to practice and use the title of Physician Assistant or NP in NYS
New York Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $114,784 to $154,951 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
