CT Technologist
CompuRay is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team. In this role, you will operate state-of-the-art GE scanners, contribute to high-quality patient care, and collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals. This direct hire position allows you to leverage your expertise in computed tomography to ensure optimal outcomes for our patients. Compensation: $60.00 to $75.00/hr
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate GE CT equipment to produce diagnostic images according to physician specifications.
- Administer contrast materials under physician direction and according to established protocols.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Ensure the quality of images, and review them for any abnormalities that need immediate attention.
- Document procedural logs and equipment maintenance records.
- Participate in rotating holiday coverage with the team, ensuring continuous operation and patient support.
- Adjust to flexible schedules and floating to nearby locations as needed to support team and patient needs.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Current BLS certification.
- Valid ARRT (CT) certification.
- Active Wisconsin Radiologic License.
- Proven proficiency with GE CT scanners.
- Experience with EPIC systems for medical record management.
- Ability to travel to different sites within a 40-mile radius of your primary location if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an acute care hospital setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Demonstrated ability to follow complex instructions and implement safe and effective patient care strategies.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and cover additional shifts as needed.

- Technical proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment.
- Strong analytical skills to assess scans and assist in diagnostic procedures.
- Excellent patient management skills to ensure comfort and safety.
