Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Emeryville Hematology/Oncology
Join our expanding community oncology practice, dedicated to providing comprehensive care for a diverse patient population. Our team focuses on a wide spectrum of conditions, from benign hematology to solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. We are committed to offering innovative treatment options, including clinical trials, to enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations in the clinic.
- Manage acute patient care needs in the infusion treatment area.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as required.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families about treatment options, potential side effects, and care plans.
- Participate in the development and management of clinical trials, providing patients access to cutting-edge therapies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans.
- Stay current with advancements in hematology and oncology to provide evidence-based care.
Minimum Requirements:
The ideal Hematology/Oncology APP (NP/PA) would have at least 1 year of experience in Hematology/Oncology as a NP or PA.
Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above from an accredited college or university.
- Graduate of a PA program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, Inc.
Licenses and Certifications:
- PA - Physician Assistant State Licensure
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- DEA - Drug Enforcement Administration

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $86.41 - $114.50 per hour. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
