Our client's hospital is a 523-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center. For over 49 years, they have served North Central Florida. They offer comprehensive cardiovascular care, oncology, orthopedics, and neurosciences. The hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. Job Summary:
- We are seeking a dynamic Medical Surgical RN to join our team.
- We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering adults in our patient-centered care model.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
- Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
- Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues.
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation.
- Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
- Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures, and treatments.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 Year of RECENT (Within The 4 years) Acute Care RN Experience (Med-Surg, Med Tele, IMU, PCU) Required.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida, Multistate or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
- BLS, (AHA Healthcare provider) required prior to start.
- NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and/or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
