Unified Therapy Services is seeking a Feeding Therapist - Occupational/Speech Therapist
Availability to set own schedule and desired number of hours worked.

Summary
The Feeding Therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients with feeding delays or difficulties, which may include but are not limited to a child’s ability to suck, chew, swallow, refusal to eat, aversions to food, or limited intake.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Provide therapy to help patients achieve feeding goals.
- Conduct screening and assessment activities with children with feeding difficulties.
- Evaluate patients and determine treatment plans using approved evaluation documents.
- Understand and comply with universal precautions, safety and risk policies and procedures.
- Prepare necessary documentation including evaluations, progress notes, discharge notes, and logs in a timely manner according to regulations.
- Consult with other members of the rehabilitation team to select treatment programs consistent with the needs and capabilities of individuals and to coordinate comprehensive service delivery.
- Utilize and maintain equipment, requesting supplies as needed.
- Maintain positive relationships with the health care team, patients, and families.
Minimum Education and/or Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech Therapy or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, preferred feeding therapy experience.
- Current Speech Language Pathology or Occupational Therapy board certification and licensure according to state regulations.
- Valid Driver’s License.
