Job Summary:
To assess, plan, and implement nursing care to meet the patients’ needs, by following the appropriate policies and procedures of the assigned department.
Education:
Position requires an associate's degree (A.A) or diploma program.
Registration/Certification/Licensure:
Registered Nurse Certification; State Licensure.
Experience:
Position requires 6 months - 1 year related experience.
Other Requirements:
- Successful completion of Pediatric Competency Self-Learning Packet within one year of hire.
- Maintain unit-specific and hospital competencies in accordance with policy requirements.
- Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.
