We seek a Per Diem Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. Per Diem Pharmacists are classified as temporary employees and work on an intermittent basis. This is an onsite per diem position supporting our pharmacies in Greenville and Roanoke Rapids, NC.
Schedule of these Genoa Healthcare Pharmacies are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Candidates must have some availability during that time.
Locations include:
- Greenville: 835 Johns Hopkins Drive, Suite D, Greenville, NC 27834
- Roanoke Rapids: Located within RHA Health Services - 109 West Becker Dr, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870
Primary Responsibilities:
- Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
- Provides information to customers about medications and their use
- Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
- Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
- Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
- Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Current pharmacist license in state of North Carolina
- Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire
