The University of Connecticut’s Division of Otolaryngology is inviting Audiology applicants to apply for an Assistant Professor position in our growing multispecialty practice. The successful applicant will be devoted to clinical expertise and firm commitment to medical education. This position is located in Farmington, CT and may be assigned to satellite offices as necessary.
The Audiologist is responsible for providing comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative services to individuals of all ages. Responsibilities include:
- Adult and pediatric diagnostic audiometry
- Neuro-diagnostic and threshold ABR, DPOAE, vestibular evaluations – VNG
- Recommendation, dispensing and fitting of appropriate amplification
- Cochlear implant evaluations and programming of cochlear processors
- Assessment, fitting and management of Osseo integrated systems
- Clinical guidance and instruction of audiology students, medical students, and residents
Qualifications/Requirements
- AuD
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology
- Connecticut state license
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with strong clinical skills
