Our Data Sourcing Internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of data acquisition and analysis. As a Data Sourcing Intern, you'll be an essential part of our team, helping us research, collect, and review data from a variety of sources. You will be exposed to the data supply chain world by managing vendor relationships (talking to vendors and researching competition), researching new data assets, summarizing findings, financially analyzing vendor price quotes, and helping share results with executives. Your work will directly contribute to our data strategy and help shape our company’s success!
Key Responsibilities
- Research data sets from a variety of sources, which include websites, databases and APIs and evaluate their suitability for the organization's needs.
- Communicate research findings, progress, and challenges to the team.
- Assist in developing data sourcing strategies to find and acquire relevant data efficiently.
- Generate calculations using PowerPoint and Excel with CoreLogic data.
- Receive general supervision and guidance from more experienced team members.
- Follow department processes, procedures and client requirements; may make recommendations and/or implement improvements/solutions.
- Participate in Internship Program activities and events to include: onboarding, educational activities, information sessions, product demos and social events.
- Provide general administrative support as needed.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
Job Qualifications
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program pursuing a related degree at an accredited 4-year college or university.
- Minimum of two years of relevant coursework completed.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative collegiate grade point average, on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent.
- Prior internship or co-op experience preferred.
- Participation in campus activities related to field preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through participation in on-campus activities, educational forums and/or prior work experience.

- Ability to work within a cross-functional team and matrix management structure.
- Solid analytical capability; ability to exercise sound judgment; strong decision-making skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications, such as Word, Excel, Access, Project and PowerPoint.
