The Lighting team specializes in comprehensive lighting upgrades for medium to large buildings in NYC. Our process includes conducting initial walkthroughs to assess current lighting, designing proposals for LED upgrades with sensors and controls, and managing the project from start to finish. We prioritize quality, energy efficiency, and maintainability in choosing our products. Our meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality have established us as a leader in our industry.
We are looking for an intern to conduct lighting audits. Responsibilities extend to assessing upgrade options, data entry, among other duties.
This role has the potential to convert into a Full-Time role depending on individual performance and business needs. This role offers a pathway to become a lighting auditor and potential advancement to project management. It also offers the opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of project management, including client interaction, technical problem solving, and process improvement.
No prior experience is needed; we provide comprehensive training.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Conduct site assessments/audits for lighting upgrades, focusing on energy reduction and NYC Local Law 88 compliance
- Analyze the feasibility, energy savings, and cost-benefits of lighting upgrade projects
- Support the management of comprehensive lighting projects across the company’s portfolio
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Job Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel with strong numerical and data analysis skills
- Ability to travel throughout NYC

- Highly detail oriented
- Team-oriented with a collaborative approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-driven with a passion for learning
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
