Role
As a Learning Disabilities Support Worker, you will be expected to support our clients with everyday tasks, such as:
- Supporting people with their social and physical activities, helping to keep in touch with family and friends, maintaining and developing hobbies and interests.
- Helping with meal planning and preparation while providing healthy advice and guidance.
- Encouraging independence by assisting clients in completing tasks.
- Providing support in a person-centred way, following individual support and care plans.
- Supporting medication management safely and effectively.
- Communicating on all levels and advocating for clients.
- Following personalized care plans to promote choice and control.
- Protecting people's dignity and maintaining confidentiality.
This position offers the opportunity to work with an amazing staff team to support people within their home and local community, enhancing their lives creatively and meaningfully.
No experience is needed as full training will be provided and funded; however, you must have a willingness to learn and a basic knowledge of using technology.
Training:

As a Learning Disabilities Support Worker, you will be provided with:
- 28 days’ annual leave rising to 33 days including bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time)
