Job Description - RN-House Supervision (7464-1421)
Description:
Responsible for providing leadership and managing ongoing nursing operations and serving as a resource to all hospital managers for assigned shift. Functions as an on-site liaison and resource person for nursing, medical, administrative, and management staff. Communicates and collaborates with all hospital departments, SMH, and outside agencies in problem resolution to promote effective and efficient operation of the hospital. Facilitates development/learning opportunities for shift staff.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Graduate of State approved school of nursing. BSN or working towards BSN with an identified timeline for completion.
Licensure: Active RN licensure in Commonwealth of Indiana. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required.
Skills: Leadership/management, communication, problem solving, collaboration, and team building skills.
Equipment: Personal computer, equipment related to specialty areas, i.e., patient care equipment.
