Columbia River Natural Medicine has been serving Columbia County and the surrounding community for over 9 years. We are a busy small town primary care naturopathic medical practice looking to add an additional physician to see overflow patients and build a practice of their own. At Columbia River Natural Medicine, we are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our community through individualized health care.
We treat all primary care conditions. Many of our patients have chronic, complex conditions. We focus on the whole person, including mental health support. The best candidate will be interested in true integrative primary care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as bloodwork, hormone panels, and allergy testing.
- Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating dietary and lifestyle modifications, stress management, nutritional supplements, herbal medicine, and other modalities as appropriate.
- Educate patients on the benefits of naturopathic medicine and guide them in making informed health decisions.
- Prescribe pharmaceutical medications when appropriate for patients.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) degree from an accredited institution OR NP, DO, or MD interested in functional medicine.
- Active state license.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and holistic healing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative healthcare team.
- Compassion and empathy for patients' well-being.
- Attention to detail in documenting patient information accurately.
Medical Specialties Preferred but Not Required:
- Women's Health/Well Woman Exams.
