Principal Massage Therapist
Status: Full-Time
Hourly Rate: Commission Based
Location: Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, HI
We are looking for a Lead Massage Therapist who is passionate about providing only the highest levels of customer service. This position reports to our Spa Management Team. Work authorization for this location is required.
Responsibilities
Provides the highest level of massage services to our guests. Oversees and maintains standards and duties of Lead Therapists and line Massage Team. Works with Spa Supervisor to ensure scheduling needs. Facilitates annual reviews for the Massage Team.
Knowledge and Skills
Education: High School education or equivalent experience.
Experience: 3 years’ experience within a luxury hotel environment. Prior experience as a Lead therapist or Trainer.
Skills & Abilities: Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language; other languages are a plus. Must have the ability to perform deep tissue/sport massage, Swedish massage and Lomi-Lomi massage. Must be able to participate in all training offered by the spa. Must have the ability to listen and understand guest needs, respect guest privacy, and create an exceptional, customized and professional experience for our guests. Must be able to inspire and lead a large team of therapists.

Licenses or Certificates: Hawaii Licensed Massage Therapist, Holistic Health Practitioner.
Hours Required: The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need.
