Physician Assistant
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our dynamic mental health care team in northern California. In this role, you will be integral in providing high-quality mental health services, utilizing a collaborative team-based approach to enhance the wellbeing of individuals across all ages. Compensation: $170,000 to $200,000, depending on experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive mental health care to a diverse patient population.
- Evaluate and assess patient mental health status based on symptoms and behavioral changes.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to the treatment plan.
- Maintain up-to-date patient records and ensure confidentiality and accuracy.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient treatments and progress.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Engage in continuous education to stay informed about new treatments and best practices in mental health care.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Current California license as a Physician Assistant or ability to obtain one.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to ethical medical practices and ongoing professional development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in mental health settings is highly regarded.
- Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities used in mental health.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex cases with a high degree of professionalism.
- Proven track record of successfully working independently.
- Experience administering and interpreting standardized mental health assessments.
- Additional certification in Psychiatry or Mental Health is a plus.
