Speech-Language Pathologist - Pediatric (Day Care)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed assessments to diagnose a variety of communication disorders in children within a daycare setting.
- Create customized treatment plans aimed at addressing individual challenges and goals.
- Carry out one-on-one therapy sessions that apply the latest evidence-based practices and techniques in speech pathology.
- Continuously monitor and record the progress of each child, making necessary adjustments to the treatment plans.
- Provide education and resources to family members and caregivers to facilitate supportive communication environments at home.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals including pediatricians, psychologists, and educators to deliver holistic care.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient interactions, treatment modalities, and outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Possession of a current Speech-Language Pathology certificate on or before the first day of employment.
- Associate degree or completion of a Speech-Language Pathology assistant certificate program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
- Ability to pass a TB skin test.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children and their families.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in educational or day care settings.
- Additional certifications relevant to pediatric speech therapy.
- Experience in using various assessment tools and technologies in speech pathology.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
