How You Will Contribute
Red Nucleus is looking for a new teammate with 3 years of medical writing experience at a sales training or medical communications agency. The qualified candidate will support the Learning & Development (L&D) team writing custom assignments for our life sciences clients. Your Responsibilities
- Design and write disease state, product, marketplace, and scientific training for pharmaceutical sales representatives and MSLs
- Consult with clients and subject matter experts to shape the design and development of content
- Research, learn, and distill complex scientific information and communicate it clearly to the target audience
- Review and provide feedback and coaching to medical writers on the team
- Collaborate with a group of individuals with diverse skills—project managers, instructional designers, artists, programmers, and medical editors—to ensure that our solutions are engaging and accurate, and meet our clients’ needs
- Attend status calls and review meetings with client teams that may consist of members from Sales, Marketing, Medical, Legal, and Regulatory departments
- Occasionally participate in the development and delivery of sales presentations
Requirements
- 3 years of medical writing experience at a sales training or medical communications agency
- BS/BA in a life science, pharmacology, or medicine
- Willingness and ability to:

- Proficiency with:

- Virtual meeting software (eg, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, GoTo Meeting, Skype for Business, WebEx, Adobe Connect)
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Pharmaceutical, medical device, and/or biotechnology sales training experience
- Experience as a healthcare provider (MD, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, nurse, pharmacist, etc)
- Advanced degree (MA, MS, PhD, PharmD, MD)
- Teaching experience
- Familiarity with clinical research principles
- Experience writing in multimedia formats
- Familiarity with instructional design principles
- Working knowledge of the American Medical Association style guide
