Claytor Memorial Clinic was originally opened in Roanoke by Dr. Richard Claytor’s great-grandfather, Dr. John B. Claytor, one of Roanoke’s first African-American physicians in the early 1900s. In honor of his family history, Dr. Richard Claytor chose to name his clinic after his great-grandfather’s clinic in order to continue the legacy he started many years ago.
The new clinic has been established since February 2016 and is a growing outpatient child, adolescent and young adult psychiatric medical practice with office locations in Roanoke and Newport News.
Richard Claytor, MD & Monica Wiltjer, PA-C have established a unique practice that incorporates many years of psychiatric and nutritional wellness experience and skills to ensure the overall health of our patients. Our goal is to provide the best patient care available utilizing individualized treatment approaches, coordination and our highly passionate and skilled providers.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual interested in establishing a semi-independent outpatient practice in a casual and relaxed atmosphere.
