Job Description:
MARSHFIELD, WISCONSIN (USA). The Division of Laboratory Medicine of the Marshfield Clinic Health is seeking an enthusiastic and team-oriented full-time board-certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist to join our practice in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Subspecialty fellowship training in Breast, GI, GU, GYN, Heme, Cytology, Renal, or CV/pulmonary pathology is desired but not necessary.
This role will primarily entail surgical pathology sign out located at the main Marshfield campus in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
Collegial group of 15 pathologists including subspecialty fellowship training in hematopathology, cytopathology, dermatopathology, gastrointestinal/hepatic pathology, neuropathology, and cardiovascular pathology.
The Pathology Department accessions approximately 50,000 surgical cases each year and maintains on-site ancillary diagnostic services including a broad immunohistochemical menu.
PA/staff gross all surgical specimens, including frozen sections during off hours.
Call is shared among department, typically no more than 1 day/night weekly and 1 in six weekends, but call usage is slim.
Autopsies minimal, 5-10/year split within the department.
Excellent administrative assistant support.
MCHS supports academic affiliations with regional universities and research opportunities in collaboration with the Marshfield Clinic Research Institute.
