As an intern, you will be responsible for performing specific tasks generally limited in scope and duration. Duties can vary from administrative assistant tasks to fieldwork.
To thrive in this role requires an interest in learning new things. Must be willing to learn computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets; telephone and customer service skills; general office experience; experience with Alaska Native or rural populations.
Minimum Qualifications:
A strong desire to learn new things is required. Must be able to reliably show up when you agree to show up.
Position Details:
This position is located on the Bristol Bay campus in Dillingham, AK. This is a part-time, non-exempt temporary position. New hires will be placed on the UA temporary salary schedule, Grade 74, based on education and experience.
Starting Pay: $18.23/hour
Work Times: Open to negotiation
This is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open over the entire academic year.
