The available position is: Rehab Specialist

Qualifications:
- Must be competent with general anatomy
- Ideal candidate is anyone with the following background: (Degree in any health science major, athletic training, personal training, group fitness training/coaching, nutrition, Physical Therapy tech/assistant)
- CPR Certified
- Must have at least a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Job Description:
- Will be assisting the main doctor throughout the treatment process which includes, but is not limited to: patient intake, therapeutic/corrective exercise, stretching/mobility exercises, postural/movement analysis, soft-tissue work, heat/cold applications, setting up patients on Electrical stimulation, ultrasound, intersegmental traction, and decompression therapy.
- If certifications have not been obtained in various techniques such as Graston (IASTM), KinesioTape/RockTape, Myofascial Release, and Functional Movement tests; Candidate will be trained on these techniques to treat and analyze patients under the direct supervision of the main doctor.
- Must be able to work outside marketing events with many of them falling on weekends. Some of these marketing events include: Health Fairs, Athletic events (Triathlons Full/Half Marathons, 5K/10K fun runs, etc), and other sponsorship events.
- Communicates effectively with the rest of the team. Completes accurate and efficient documentation daily. Assists the main doctor with various tasks and projects.
- Ensures safe care of patients by adhering to policies, procedures, and standards, within budgetary specifications, including time management, supply management, productivity, and accuracy of practice.
- Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education, skills competency, supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization.
- Assists the front desk team with administrative duties.
- Must meet performance goals on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
Office is located in the Westchase District of Houston (Westheimer and Beltway 8 west).
Position will start-out with a 90-day probationary period.
